Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn, sydd yn gymwys o ran Cymru, yn dod i rym ar 30 Ebrill 2005. Maent yn rhoi effaith i Gyfarwyddeb y Comisiwn 2003/111/EC (O.J. Rhif L311, 27.11.2003, t.12) sy'n diwygio Atodiad II i Gyfarwyddeb 92/34/EEC (O.J. Rhif L157, 10.6.1992, t. 10) ar farchnata deunyddiau sy'n lluosogi planhigion ffrwythau a phlanhigion ffrwythau a fwriadwyd ar gyfer cynhyrchu ffrwythau.

Mae Rheoliad 2 yn disodli Atodlen 1 i Reoliadau Marchnata Deunyddiau Ffrwythau 1995 ac yn ei lle yn rhoi Atodlen 1 newydd sy'n pennu'r genera a'r rhywogaethau y mae'r Rheoliadau hynny yn gymwys iddynt.

Mae Arfarniad Rheoleiddiol wedi'i baratoi. Gellir cael copïau oddi wrth Is-adran Iechyd Anifeiliaid a Phlanhigion, Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru, Parc Cathays, Caerdydd CF10 3NQ.
