Rhaid i fynegrif cemegol y protein sydd wedi'i ychwanegu fod yn hafal i 80 y cant o leiaf o'r protein cyfeiriadol (casein fel y'i diffinnir yn Atodlen 2), neu mae'n rhaid i gymhareb effeithlonrwydd protein (PER) y protein yn y cymysgedd fod yn hafal i 70 y cant o leiaf o'r protein cyfeiriadol hwnnw.
