The National Assembly for Wales, in exercise of the powers vested in it under section 143(2) of and paragraphs 1 and 5 of Schedule 11 to the Local Government Finance Act 1988(1) hereby makes the following Regulations:
1988 c. 41. Section 143(2) was amended by section 139 of and paragraphs 72 and 79(3) of Schedule 5 to the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (c. 42 ). Paragraph 1 and 5 of Schedule 11 was amended by section 117(1) of and paragraphs 88(1), (3) and (13) of Schedule 13 to the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (c. 14) with effect in relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 1993. The functions of the Secretary of State under the above sections and schedule were, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, transferred to the National Assembly for Wales by article 2 of and Schedule 1 to the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999, S.I. 1999/672.
