SCHEDULE 1 CASES IN WHICH A PERSON MAY BE EMPLOYED AS A TEACHER IN A RELEVANT SCHOOL WITHOUT HAVING SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED AN INDUCTION PERIOD

9.  A person who as respects the profession of school teacher, falls within Article 3 of Council Directive 89/48 EEC(1) on a general system for the recognition of higher-education diplomas awarded on completion of professional education and training of at least three years' duration, as extended by the Agreement of the European Economic Area signed at Oporto on 2nd May 1992(2) as adjusted by the Protocol signed at Brussels on 17th March 1993(3).
