2.—(1) Yn y Gorchymyn hwn—
ystyr “cwch pysgota Prydeinig” (“British fishing boat”) yw cwch pysgota sydd naill ai wedi'i gofrestru yn y Deyrnas Unedig o dan Ran II o Ddeddf Llongau Masnachol 1995(1) neu sydd dan berchenogaeth lwyr personau sy'n gymwys i berchenogi llongau Prydeinig at ddibenion y rhan honno o'r Ddeddf honno; ac
ystyr “pen y cwd” (“codend”) yw'r rhan olaf un o rwyd, a luniwyd o un neu fwy o baneli yn cynnwys darnau o rwydwe y mae maint ei masgl yr un fath a'r darnau hynny wedi'u cysylltu â'i gilydd ar hyd eu hymylon yn echel hir y rhwyd gan gareiau.
(2) At ddibenion y Gorchymyn hwn, rhaid mesur masgl rhwyd neu rwydwe yn unol â Rheoliad y Comisiwn (EEC) Rhif 2108/1984 ar 23 Gorffennaf 1984 sy'n gosod rheolau manwl ar gyfer penderfynu maint masgl rhwydi pysgota(2) ac a ddiwygiwyd gan Reoliad y Comisiwn (EC) Rhif 2550/1997(3)).
