Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn diwygio ymhellach Reoliadau'r Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol (Gwasanaethau Meddygol Cyffredinol) 1992 (“y prif Reoliadau”) sy'n rheoleiddio'r telerau y mae meddygon yn darparu gwasanaethau meddygol cyffredinol o dan Ddeddf y Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol 1977.

Mae rheoliad 2 yn diwygio'r rhestr yn Atodlen 10 i'r prif Reoliadau, sy'n rhestru cyffuriau a sylweddau eraill na cheir eu rhagnodi i'w cyflenwi tra'n darparu gwasanaethau fferyllol o dan Ddeddf y Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol 1977, drwy dynnu cynhyrchion mwcolytig geneuol penodedig.

Mae rheoliad 3 yn diwygio Atodlen 11 i'r prif Reoliadau, sy'n rhestru'r cyffuriau a'r sylweddau eraill y gellir eu rhagnodi mewn amgylchiadau penodol yn unig yng nghwrs gwasanaethau fferyllol a ddarperir o dan Ddeddf y Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol 1977.

Mae Rheoliad 3(a) yn tynnu cynhyrchion mwcolytig geneuol penodedig oddi ar y rhestr yn Atodlen 11 ac mae rheoliad 3(b) yn ychwanegu Tadalafil (Cialis) ati.
