Dileodd y Penderfyniad hwnnw Benderfyniad y Comisiwn 2001/740/EC, fel y'i diwygiwyd, a oedd yn ymwneud â darpariaethau penodol i ddiogelu rhag clwy'r traed a'r genau yn y Deyrnas Unedig (OJ Rhif L277, 20.10.2001, t.30). Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn dileu Rheoliadau Cyfyngiadau Mewnforio ac Allforio (Clwy'r Traed a'r Genau) (Cymru) (Rhif 2) 2002 a roddodd ar waith y diwygiad olaf i Benderfyniad y Comisiwn 2001/740/EC.
