Consequential amendments to the Minced Meat and Meat Preparations (Hygiene) Regulations 1995E+W

27.—(1) In so far as they apply to Wales, the Minced Meat and Meat Preparations (Hygiene) Regulations 1995 M1 are amended in accordance with this regulation.

(2) For paragraph (1B) of regulation 7 there is substituted—

(1B) Paragraph (1A) does not apply to minced meat processed in accordance with regulation 5(3) of the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-And-Mouth Disease) (Wales) (No. 10) Regulations 2001..

(3) For paragraph (6) of regulation 7 there is substituted—

(6) The health mark may be affixed to minced meat which satisfies the requirements of paragraph (1) of this regulation and regulation 5(3) of the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-And-Mouth Disease) (Wales) (No. 10) Regulations 2001..

(4) For paragraph (4B) of regulation 8 there is substituted—

(4B) Paragraph (4A) does not apply to meat preparations made in accordance with regulation 5(3) of the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-And-Mouth Disease) (Wales) (No. 10) Regulations 2001..

(5) For paragraph (7) of regulation 8 there is substituted—

(7) The health mark may be affixed to any meat preparation which satisfies the requirements of paragraph (1) of this regulation and regulation 5(3) of the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-And-Mouth Disease) (Wales) (No. 10) Regulations 2001..
