RHAN ILleoli ar y raddfa macro

Diogelu iechyd pobl

(a)Dylai pwyntiau samplu a gyferir at ddiogelu iechyd pobl gael eu lleoli:

(i)i ddarparu data am yr ardaloedd mewn parthau a chrynoadau lle ceir y crynodiadau uchaf y mae'r boblogaeth yn debyg o gael ei datguddio iddynt yn uniongyrchol neu'n anuniongyrchol am gyfnod sy'n arwyddocaol mewn perthynas â chyfnod cyfartaleddu y gwerth(oedd) terfyn;

(ii)i ddarparu data am lefelau mewn ardaloedd eraill yn y parthau a'r crynoadau sy'n gynrychioliadol o ddatguddiad y boblogaeth gyffredinol.

Yn gyffredinol dylai pwyntiau samplu gael eu lleoli i osgoi mesur micro-amgylcheddau bach iawn yn y cyffiniau. Fel canllaw, dylai pwynt samplu gael ei leoli i fod yn gynrychioliadol o ansawdd yr aer mewn ardal amgylchynol heb fod yn llai na 200 m2 ar safleoedd sy'n ymwneud â thraffig ac o sawl cilometr sgwâr ar safleoedd â chefndir trefol.

  • Hefyd, os oes modd, dylai'r pwyntiau samplu fod yn gynrychioliadol o fannau tebyg nad ydynt yn eu cyffiniau.

  • Dylid cymryd i ystyriaeth yr angen i leoli pwyntiau samplu ar ynysoedd, os oes angen gwneud hynny i ddiogelu iechyd pobl.

Diogelu ecosystemau a llystyfiant

(b)Dylai pwyntiau samplu sydd wedi'u targedu ar ddiogelu ecosystemau neu lystyfiant gael eu lleoli fwy nag 20 km o grynoadau neu fwy na 5 km o fannau adeiledig eraill, sefydliadau diwydiannol neu draffyrdd. Fel canllaw, dylai pwynt samplu gael ei leoli i fod yn gynrychioliadol o ansawdd yr aer mewn ardal amgylchynol o 1000 km2 o leiaf. Gall pwynt samplu gael ei leoli yn llai pell i ffwrdd neu i fod yn gynrychioliadol o ansawdd aer mewn ardal lai estynedig, gan gymryd yr amodau daearyddol i ystyriaeth.

Dylid cymryd i ystyriaeth yr angen i asesu ansawdd yr aer ar ynysoedd.
