Citation, commencement and application
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 13th September 2000.
(2) These Regulations apply to Wales only.
Amendments
2.—(1) The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) Regulations 1991(1) are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.
(2) In Regulation 17, in paragraph (2), for “£29.48” substitute “£30.39”.
(3) In Regulation 18,
(a)in paragraph (1), for “£29.48” substitute “£30.39”;
(b)in paragraph (2),
(i)in sub-paragraph (a), for “£26.24” substitute “£27.65”; and
(ii)in sub-paragraphs (b) and (c), for “£52.49” substitute “£55.31”.
Revocation
3. The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations 1999(2) and the Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1999(3) are revoked in relation to Wales.
