Provisions coming into force on 1st October 1999
2. The following provisions of the Act shall come into force in relation to Wales on 1st October 1999 —

section 2(1), (2), (3) and (5), 9
section 3(2), (3) and (4),
section 4(1), (2), (3) and (4),
section 5(2), (4), (5), (6) and (7),
section 6,
section 8(2), (3), (4), (5), (6) and (7),
section 10(4),
section 12(1) and (4),
section 19(1), (2) and (4),
section 20,
section 22,
section 23,
section 25(1), (2)(a), (d), (e), (f), (g) and (h) and (3).
section 26.
