Interpretation of “governing body”

3.  Unless the context otherwise requires, any reference in these Regulations to the governing body is a reference to the governing body or temporary governing body (however constituted F1 of any school or (as the case may be) new school to which the provision applies, and any reference to a governor is a reference to a member of such a governing body.
