The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 20041.
Citation and extent1

This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2004 (General Code of Practice) (Appointed Day, Amendment and Revocations) Order 2024.

This Order extends to England and Wales and Scotland.
Appointed day2
The day appointed for the coming into effect of the Pensions Regulator General Code of Practice is 28th March 2024.
Amendment of the Pensions Act 2004 (Commencement No. 4 and Amendment) Order 20053
In the Pensions Act 2004 (Commencement No. 4 and Amendment) Order 20052, omit article 2(1) with effect from 28th March 2024.

The following Orders are revoked with effect from 28th March 2024—
