Coming into force
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 69(3) and (4) of the School Standards and Framework Act 19981.
In making this Order, the Secretary of State has followed the procedure specified in the Religious Character of Schools (Designation Procedure) Regulations 19982.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (England) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2023 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
Designation of school2

Menorah Primary School for Boys, Barnet, NW11 9SP, a voluntary aided school, is designated as a school having a religious character.

The religious denomination in accordance with whose tenets religious education is, or may be, required to be provided in accordance with Schedule 19 to the School Standards and Framework Act 19983, is Jewish.
Amendment of the Designation of Schools having a Religious Character (England) Order 19993
Part 1 of the Schedule to the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (England) Order 19994 is amended. After the words “Menorah Primary School” insert “for Girls”
