Terrorism Act 20004

The Terrorism Act 20006 is amended as follows.

In Schedule 3A 7 (business in the regulated sector)—

a

in paragraph 1(1)(b)8, in the opening words, for “Annex 1 to the Capital Requirements Directive”, in both places where those words appear, substitute “Schedule 2 to the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 20179”;

b

in paragraph 3(1), omit the definition of “the Capital Requirements Directive”;

c

in paragraph 3(3)—

i

omit “, the Capital Requirements Directive”;

ii

for “those Directives” substitute “that Directive”.

In paragraph 6(1) of Schedule 610 (financial institution)—

a

omit sub-paragraph (g);

b

in sub-paragraph (h), for “any of points 1 to 12, 14 and 15 of Annex 1 to Directive 2013/36/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013” substitute “the points in Schedule 2 to the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017”.
