Amendment of Article 38 of Regulation (EU) No 2018/1139I1115

Article 38 (protection of aerodrome surroundings) is amended as follows.

In paragraph 1—
a
for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State and the CAA”;
b
for “their territory” substitute “the United Kingdom”.

In paragraph 2, for the words from “the competent authorities” to the end, substitute “the CAA”.

In paragraph 3—
a
for “Commission shall” substitute “Secretary of State may”;
b
for “adopt implementing acts” substitute “make regulations”;
c
omit the last sentence.
