CHAPTER 3Amendment of Commission Regulation on additional airworthiness

Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640 (additional airworthiness)

285.  Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640 of 23 April 2015 on additional airworthiness specifications for a given type of operations and amending Regulation 965/2012 is amended in accordance with regulations 286 to 290.

Amendment of Article 1 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640

286.  In Article 1 (scope), in points (a) and (b), for “a Member State” substitute “the United Kingdom”.

Amendment of Article 3 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640

287.  In Article 3 (additional airworthiness specifications for a given type of operation), for “a Member State” substitute “the United Kingdom”.

Amendment of Article 5 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640

288.  In Article 5 (transitional provisions), for “their competent authority” substitute “the Civil Aviation Authority”.

Further amendment of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640

289.  After Article 6 (entry into force and application), omit the sentence which begins “This Regulation shall be binding”.

Amendment of Annex 1 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/640

290.—(1) Annex 1 (Part-26) is amended as follows.

(2) In the list of contents, omit the entry for point 26.10 (competent authority).

(3) In Subpart A (general provisions)—

(a)omit point 26.10;

(b)in point 26.20, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;

(c)in point 26.30, in each place it occurs, for “Agency” substitute “CAA”.
