54.—(1) Regulation 8 (determination of applications) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (1), in sub-paragraph (a), omit the words from “including” to “Act”.

(3) Omit paragraph (2).

(4) In paragraph (3), omit the words from “, unless” to the end.
