2.—(1) Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the principal Regulations (list of prescribed diseases and the occupations for which they are prescribed)(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In column 2—
(a)in B15 for “Employment as a healthcare worker having contact”, substitute with “Contact”;
(b)in D6(a) for “in or about a building”, substitute with “at a workplace” and after the words “wooden goods” insert “or products made wholly or partially of wood”;
(c)in D6(c) at the end omit the full stop and add –
“;or
exposure to wood dust in the course of the machine processing of wood.”.
The relevant amending instrument is S.I. 2005/324.
