28. The Treasury approval requirement under section 2(1) (recovery of cost of supervising Community livestock carcase grading procedures) of the Agriculture and Forestry (Financial Provisions) Act 1991(1) ceases to apply in so far as the function under that provision is exercised by the Welsh Ministers.
1991 c. 33; section 2(1) was amended by article 6(1)(e) of S.I. 2011/1043. The functions of the Minister under section 2, so far as they are exercisable in relation to Wales, were transferred to the National Assembly for Wales, subject to the continuing requirement for Treasury approval, by article 2 of, and Schedule 1 to, the 1999 Order. Those functions are now exercisable by the Welsh Ministers by virtue of paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006.
