2.—(1) The Pigs (Records, Identification and Movement) Order 2011(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In article 2 (interpretation)—
(a)omit "“BPEX” means the division of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board with responsibility for the pig industry in England”;
(b)after the definition of "CPH number" insert “"the database operator” means the operator nominated by the Secretary of State under article 12(A1);”.
(3) In article 12 (movement of pigs other than movements to markets or collection centres)—
(a)before paragraph 1 insert—
“(A1) The Secretary of State shall nominate a person to operate a computerised central database to record movements of pigs.”;
(b)in paragraph (1) for “BPEX” substitute “the database operator”;
(c)in paragraph (2)—
(i)for “BPEX”, in the first place it occurs, substitute “the database operator”;
(ii)for “BPEX movement recording system” substitute “central database”;
