2.—(1) The areas that cease to be part of the parishes listed in the first column of table 1 in the Schedule and become part of the parishes listed in the second column of that table in consequence of the Leeds (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2018(1), cease to be part of the wards listed in the third column of that table and becomes part of the wards listed in the fourth column of that table.
(2) The areas that cease to be part of the parishes listed in the first column of table 2 in the Schedule and become part of the unparished areas in the second column of that table in consequence of the Leeds (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2018, cease to be part of the wards listed in the third column of that table and become part of the wards listed in the fourth column of that table.
(3) In this article—
“ward” means the wards of the city of Leeds as named in article 3(2) of the Leeds (Electoral Changes) Order 2017(2).
The Leeds (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2018 was made by Leeds City Council under section 86 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 (c. 28). Orders of this kind are not required to be made by statutory instrument.
