1971 c. 38. Section 8 was saved by the Criminal Law Act 1977 (c. 45), Schedule 5, paragraph 1(2)(b)(iv). Section 9A was inserted by the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 (c. 32), section 34(1). Section 19 was amended by the Serious Crime Act 2007 (c. 27), Schedule 6(2), paragraph 53, and by the Criminal Attempts Act 1981 (c. 47), Schedule Part I.
