Storing organic manure9

A land manager must ensure that organic manure is not stored on agricultural land—
a
within 10 metres of inland freshwaters or coastal waters, or
b
within 50 metres of a spring, well or borehole.

For agricultural land to which paragraph (1) does not apply, the land manager must ensure that any factors which mean there would be a significant risk of agricultural diffuse pollution are taken into account when deciding where to store organic manure.

In paragraph (2), the factors include those in regulation 4(2).
