7. In Table 2 of Schedule 2 to the Local Authorities (Mayoral Elections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007(1)—

(a)in the first column omit the words “, European Parliamentary”;

(b)in the first row of the second column for the words from “In subsection (1),” to “paragraphs (a) to (c),” substitute—

“In subsection (1), at the end of paragraph (b), insert—

“or,

(d)a mayoral election and an election of one or more of the descriptions specified in paragraph (b),”.”;

(c)in the second row of the second column for “subsections (5) and (5A)” substitute “subsection (5)”.
