Continuation of application made by the Regulator for a search warrant60

This article applies to an application for a search warrant made by the Regulator—
a
under section 8(5) of the 2006 Act (enforcement: the Regulator); or
b
under regulation 37(1) or (2) of the 2006 Regulations (search warrants for purposes of investigation of professional conduct).

The FCA may continue the search warrant application and is for that purpose substituted for the Regulator as a party to that application.
