Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(4), 7(4), 35(1) and 36(4)(a) and paragraph 14(b) of Schedule 1 to the Jobseekers Act 19951, section 24(1) and paragraph 6(4)(a) and (5) of Schedule 1 to the Welfare Reform Act 20072 and sections 4(6)(b), 15(2), 17(4), 19(2)(d), 25, 40 and 42(2) and (3) of the Welfare Reform Act 20123.

In accordance with section 173(1)(b) of the Social Security Administration Act 19924, the Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that the proposals for these regulations need not be referred to it.
