Amendment of regulation 1810

Regulation 18 (direct debit repayment) is amended as follows.

In paragraph (1)—
a
in the words before paragraph (a), for “will apply”, substitute “applies”;
b
in paragraph (a), after “outstanding balance”, insert “of a student loan or a postgraduate master’s degree loan (“the relevant loan”)”;
c
in paragraph (b), for “the student loan”, substitute “the relevant loan”;
d
in paragraph (c), for “the loan”, substitute “the relevant loan”.

In paragraphs (2) and (5), after “deductions”, insert “in respect of the relevant loan”.

In paragraph (3), after “outstanding balance”, insert “of the relevant loan”.
