Amendment of the Criminal Justice Act 2003

8. In section 117 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (hearsay evidence: business and other documents)(1), in subsection (4) for paragraph (b) substitute—
“(b)was not obtained pursuant to—
(i)a request under section 7 of the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003,
(ii)an order under paragraph 6 of Schedule 13 to the Criminal Justice Act 1988, or
(iii)an order under Part 2 of the Criminal Justice (European Investigation Order) Regulations 2017,
(all of which relate to overseas evidence).”.
