Amendment of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 2001

18.  In regulation 49 of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 2001 (precluded Class 3 contributions)(1)—

(a) in paragraph (2)—

(i) in sub-paragraph (a), omit “, bereavement allowance”; and

(ii) in sub-paragraph (b), omit “bereavement payment or”; and

(b) in paragraph (3), omit “, bereavement allowance”.

S.I. 2001/1004. Regulation 49(2) was amended by S.I. 2001/3728. In regulation 49(3), the words “bereavement allowance” were inserted by S.I. 2001/3728.
