Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1), (3) and (4)(a) and (g) of the Social Security Act 19881 (“the 1988 Act”) and section 175(3) to (5) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19922.

In accordance with section 13(2) of the 1988 Act, the Secretary of State has consulted with the Scottish Ministers and the Welsh Ministers3.
