The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016(1), make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2016.
2. Sections 4, 9 and 11 of the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016 shall come into force on 16th May 2016.

This Order brings into force sections 4, 9 and 11 of the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016 with effect from 16th May 2016.
