The Railways (Interoperability) Regulations 2011
44. In regulation 2(1) of the Railways (Interoperability) Regulations 2011(1)(interpretation) for the definition of “European specification” substitute—
““European specification” means a common technical specification, a technical specification formulated by reference to a European Technical Assessment or a national standard transposing a European standard, the terms used in this definition having the meaning given in Annex VIII to Directive 2014/25/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on procurement by entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors and repealing Directive 2004/17/EC(2);”.
