The Modern Slavery Act 2015 (Commencement No. 4) Regulations 2016

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 61(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015(1), makes the following Regulations.

Citation

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (Commencement No. 4) Regulations 2016.

Provisions coming into force on 17th March 2016

2.  The following provisions of Schedule 5 to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (minor and consequential amendments) come into force on 17th March 2016—

(a)paragraph 11;

(b)paragraph 15; and

(c)paragraph 27(3).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations are the fourth commencement regulations made under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (c. 30).

Regulation 2 brings into force consequential amendments to the Administration of Justice Act 1970 (c. 31), the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (c. 29) and the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013 (c. 3).
