27. Notwithstanding regulation 26, the Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations 1991 continue to have effect in relation to any vehicle seized under section 6 of the 1989 Act(1) (seizure and disposal of vehicles used for illegal waste disposal) before 6th April 2015.

Section 6 was amended by the 1990 Act, Schedule 15, paragraph 31 and the Environment Act 1995 (c. 25), Schedule 22, paragraph 37(4), and is repealed by S.I. 2015/425 on the same date as this instrument comes into force.
