26. The Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations 1991(1) are revoked.
27. Notwithstanding regulation 26, the Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations 1991 continue to have effect in relation to any vehicle seized under section 6 of the 1989 Act(2) (seizure and disposal of vehicles used for illegal waste disposal) before 6th April 2015.

Section 6 was amended by the 1990 Act, Schedule 15, paragraph 31 and the Environment Act 1995 (c. 25), Schedule 22, paragraph 37(4), and is repealed by S.I. 2015/425 on the same date as this instrument comes into force.
