Any decision, warrant or other act of the original court in transferred proceedings is to have the same effect on and after the transfer day as if it had been a decision, warrant or other act of the family court.

In particular, a warrant issued in transferred proceedings under section 59B(1) of the Magistrates’ Court Act 19804 shall have effect as if it had been a judgment summons issued by the family court.

Accordingly, on and after the transfer day, further proceedings may be taken in the family court in respect of such a decision, warrant or other act.
