41.—(1) Section 60(1) (investigatory powers of DPP etc) is amended as follows.

(2) Omit subsection (1)(b).

(3) Omit subsection (3).

(4) Omit subsection (5)(b).

(5) In subsection (6), omit “(3),”.

Section 60(1)(b) and 60(5)(b) was amended by the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (c. 33), section 30(2), Schedule 5.
