1. In the Church Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 1960(1), in section 20 (provisions as to pensions of Church Estates Commissioners), in subsection (2A), after “widower” insert “(whether or not of the same or the opposite sex to the deceased),”.
1960 No. 1. Subsection (2A) was originally inserted by the Church Commissioners Measure 1964 No. 8 and was substituted by the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 2005 No. 3 and amended by S.I. 2005/3325. There are other amendments to section 20 not relevant to this Order.
