No authorised development comprised in Work No. 4 or Work No. 7A shall commence until a written scheme for the investigation of areas of archaeological interest (as, in the case of Work No. 4, further detailed in section 13.7 of volume 1 of the environmental statement) has been submitted to and approved by the relevant planning authority.

The scheme must identify areas where field work and/or a watching brief are required, and the measures to be taken to protect, record or preserve any significant archaeological remains that may be found.

Any archaeological works or watching brief carried out under the scheme must be by a suitably qualified person or body approved by the relevant planning authority.

Any archaeological works or watching brief must be carried out in accordance with the approved scheme.
