The Secretary of State in exercise of the power conferred by paragraph 6(1) and (3) of Schedule 1 to the Presumption of Death Act 2013(1) makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Register of Presumed Deaths (Fees) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1st October 2014.
2. The fee prescribed for a certified copy of an entry in the Register of Presumed Deaths is £9.25.

These Regulations prescribe the fee that must be paid for a certified copy of an entry in the Register of Presumed Deaths under the Presumption of Death Act 2013. An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
