The Treasury are a government department designated for the purpose of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721 in relation to financial services2.
The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and section 426(1) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 20003.
