The Road Traffic Act 1988 is modified as follows.

In section 67(4)(f)117 (testing of condition of vehicles on roads), omit “for a police area”.

In section 144(2) (exceptions from requirement of third-party insurance or security)118, in paragraph (a)(ii) after the second “Scotland” insert “or the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”.
