Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Financial Services Act 2012 (Transitional Provisions) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 2013.

This article and article 70 come into force on 25th March 2013.

The rest of this Order comes into force on 1st April 2013.

In this Order—

  • “the 2012 Act” means the Financial Services Act 2012;

  • “the Authority” means the Financial Services Authority;

  • “the commencement date” means 1st April 2013.

A reference in this Order to a provision of an Act is a reference to a provision of FSMA 20002, except where indicated otherwise.

A term used in this Order which is defined in FSMA 2000 has the same meaning as in that Act.
