If an NHS chemist is suspended from the pharmaceutical list of a Primary Care Trust (PCT1), in addition to PCT1’s powers to terminate suspensions under section 157(3)(b) of the 2006 Act (review of decisions) on a review, PCT1 may terminate a suspension at any time, in appropriate circumstances.

If PCT1 terminates a suspension under paragraph (1), it must notify the NHS chemist that it has done so.
