Access to education

14.  Expenditure on the payment to persons over compulsory school age of education maintenance allowances(1).

Education maintenance allowances are defined in section 108(8)(a) of the 2005 Act as financial assistance under section 14 of the 2002 Act paid to, or in respect of, a person who is over compulsory school age in connection with his undertaking any course or training.
