Amendment of Schedule 16

30.—(1) Schedule 16 (permitted variants) is amended as follows.

(2) In column (2) of item 1—

(a)after “530,” insert “530A,”;

(b)for “532.2, 532.3,” substitute “532.2, 532.2A, 532.3, 532.3A,”;

(c)after “818.3 (other than in respect of distance),” insert “818.5,”; and

(d)after “6001,” insert “7014.1,”.

(3) Omit—

2.629.1Metric units to one decimal place of a metre may be substituted for imperial units when the sign is placed in combination with another sign shown in diagram 629.1 which has not been so varied.

(4) In column (2) of item 3—

(a)omit “2601.1,”; and

(b)for “2511, 2512,” substitute “2511.1, 2512.1,”.

(5) In column (2) of item 5, after “2602.1,” insert “2602.1A,”.

(6) In item 6—
