The Leeds College of Art (Transfer to the Higher Education Sector) Order 2011

Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 122A of the Education Reform Act 19881.

In accordance with section 122A(1), it appears to the Secretary of State that the full-time equivalent enrolment number of the institution conducted by Leeds College of Art2 for courses of higher education exceeds 55 per cent of its total full-time equivalent enrolment number.

This Order may be cited as the Leeds College of Art (Transfer to the Higher Education Sector) Order 2011 and comes into force on 1st August 2011.

On 1st August 2011 Leeds College of Art is transferred to the higher education sector.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order makes provision for the transfer of Leeds College of Music from the further education sector to the higher education sector on 1st August 2011.
