This Order brings into force remaining provisions of section 58 of the Water Act 2003 (“the Act”).
Section 58 of the Act makes amendments to provisions of the Water Industry Act 1991 (“the 1991 Act”) relating to fluoridation of water supplies and is in force, in relation to England only.
This Commencement Order commences the following provisions which all concern pre-1985 fluoridation schemes—
(a)sections 58(7) and (9);
(b)sections 58(11) to (14) fully; and
(c)Section 101(2) and Schedule 9 in so far as they repeal Schedule 7 to the 1991 Act.
This Order applies in relation to England only.
