Amendments to Rule 2.939

Rule 2.9 (proof of service) is amended as follows.

For paragraph (1) substitute—

Service of the application must be verified by a certificate of service.

The certificate of service must be sufficient to identify the application served and must specify—
a
the name and registered number of the company,
b
the address of the registered office of the company,
c
the name of the applicant,
d
the court to which the application was made and the court reference number,
e
the date of the application,
f
whether the copy served was a sealed copy,
g
the date on which service was effected, and
h
the manner in which service was effected.

In paragraph (2)—
a
for “affidavit of service, with a sealed copy of the application exhibited to it,” substitute “certificate of service”;
b
after “1” insert “business”.
